The CF-18 Demonstration Team is an aerial demonstration unit of the RCAF. The CF-18 demonstrations are into two types of shows. The first type is a tactical fighter support demonstration, which highlights the CF-18’s ability to provide air support to soldiers during combat operations. The second type is an aerobatic demonstration, showcasing the wide range of capabilities of the CF-18 aircraft. However, as of the 2023 season, the RCAF has decided to reduce the number of CF-18 performances at Canadian air shows to ten shows in order to prioritize resources and personnel for other operational commitments, making it even more exciting that they will be a part of the Alberta International Airshow!
