Vampire Airshows de Havilland DH-115 the World’s Oldest Flying Jet Fighter

Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s … a vampire? Vampire Airshows has gained a significant following and has become a crowd favourite at every location where they perform. The vampire’s development began in 1943, during the Second World War. In May of 1944, it was decided that the aircraft would be mass-produced for the Royal Air Force (RAF). The RAF employed the Vampire as a front-line fighter until 1953, manufacturing approximately 3,300 aircraft models. Much like Count Dracula, this aircraft is from another era, yet it still has plenty of bites left in it. We are thrilled that this historic aircraft will be joining our 2023 show!
